In Wyrmspan, players assume the roles of dragon lords vying for dominance over a mystical land fragmented by ancient forces. Each player's goal is to expand their territory, harness magical energies, and raise mighty dragons to assert their supremacy. The ultimate objective is to control the most prestigious territories and collect the most victory points by the end of the game.

Gameplay:

• Setup: Players begin by choosing their Dragon Lord and placing their starting base on predetermined locations on the board. Territory tiles are randomly distributed across the board, and resource tokens are placed on their respective locations.

• Turn Structure: The game proceeds in rounds, each consisting of three phases: Gather, Command, and Conquer.

  • Gather Phase: Players collect resources from territories they control and draw magic cards that grant special abilities or resources.
  • Command Phase: Players may deploy dragons, build structures, or cast spells using their collected resources. Strategic placement and movement are crucial in this phase.
  • Conquer Phase: Players engage in battles to gain control over neighboring territories using their dragons. Battles are resolved using a combination of dice rolls and magic card effects.

• End Game and Scoring: The game ends after all territory tiles are claimed or a set number of rounds have been completed. Players tally their victory points based on territories controlled, dragons remaining, and completed quests from magic cards. The player with the highest score is declared the supreme ruler of Wyrmspan.
