In SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, a game for 1–4 players, you take on the role of a scientific institution searching for traces of life beyond planet Earth. The game draws inspiration from current and emerging technologies and space exploration efforts.

Players will explore nearby planets and moons by launching probes from Earth, taking advantage of the ever-shifting planetary positions. You can choose to land on their surfaces to collect valuable samples or remain in orbit for a broader survey. Additionally, by directing your telescopes towards distant star systems, you may detect alien signals or undiscovered exoplanets and gather promising data to study back on Earth.

On Earth, you can invest in upgrading your equipment to analyze incoming data more efficiently, increase your telescope’s signal capacity, or boost your resources, all with the goal of expanding your search for extraterrestrial life.

You will have access to over 200 cards to aid in your efforts or focus your research in specific directions, gaining bonuses and rewards. Each card features unique effects and illustrations of real-life technologies, projects, and discoveries, such as the ISS, the Large Hadron Collider, the Perseverance rover, the Voyager probe, and more.
