Dive into the mythological tale of the eternal struggle between Horus and Seth, played out during every sunrise and sunset. Horus, the celestial god, defeats Seth, the god of darkness and chaos, to start a new day. However, Seth regains power at night, bringing darkness once again. This cycle of rivalry, as old as time itself, is the foundation of this unique game.

In Sunrise Sunset, players take on the roles of Horus and Seth, battling across three locations – the world of the living (Deshret), the underworld (Duat), and the Solar Boat (Mandjet), representing the Sun's journey across the sky.

Designed for two players, the game includes only 18 tarot-sized cards, making it highly portable and easy to play anywhere. While simple to learn, the game offers deep strategy where predicting your opponent's intentions is the key to victory.

Players take turns placing cards in one of three locations until each side of every location has two cards, totaling 12 cards. Then, the battles in each location are resolved. Winning a battle grants you dominance over the location, and winning again at a dominated location deals 1 damage to your opponent. The game ends when a player deals 3 points of damage.

Each card features unique powers and effects, with some played face-down to conceal your strategy. The rules include a handy summary of card abilities to guide you during play, helping you plan your moves with precision.
