The iconic Café de Paris is in desperate need of renovation to continue drawing guests from all over the world. In Intarsia, players take on the roles of artisans competing for the prestigious contract to redesign the café’s stunning parquet floor. To secure this contract, they must showcase their craftsmanship in creating elegant intarsias while outpacing their competitors by acquiring advanced tools.

Each floor ornament consists of one to four filigree wooden elements, which players carefully assemble from the outside inwards. The more pieces an ornament has, the more victory points it scores! During the construction phase, players acquire wood elements by playing material cards and add them to their personal boards following simple building rules. Additionally, they can aim to fulfill specific pattern requirements to earn tools that boost their score for the round. Only the artisan with the finest skills will secure the contract and breathe new life into the café!
