Wizard is an exciting trick-taking card game that adds a unique twist to the traditional 52-card deck by including four Wizards as the highest cards and four Jesters as the lowest.

Players compete over several rounds, with the number of rounds equal to the number of players. Each round, players are dealt an increasing number of cards – one card in the first round, two in the second, three in the third, and so on. The trump suit is determined by flipping the top card of the undealt deck. If it’s a Jester, there’s no trump for the round. If it’s a Wizard, the dealer chooses the trump suit.

At the start of each round, players predict how many tricks they will take. The gameplay follows standard trick-taking rules, with players required to follow suit if possible. However, Wizards and Jesters can always be played, adding a layer of strategic depth.

After all tricks are played, players score based on their predictions. Accurate predictions earn bonus points, while errors lead to penalties.
